This
mini-tour takes 2 days / 1 night, and is designed for the individual
tourists (1-3 persons). The programme is oriented toward those who wish
to escape for a few moments of the city stress, to relax and enjoy beautiful
landscapes and, at the same time, to visit medieval monuments. The route
goes through the Olt Valley and crosses a variety of famous resorts.
The panoramic view of the Olt Valley is fascinating both in summer and
winter time.
DAY
1
- Transfer Bucharest - Targoviste (80km).
- Visit to Curtea Domneasca - a building complex with remains of the
Vlad Dracula's residence, including the tower called Turnul Chindiei
( 17th century), an attractive historical monument whose name comes
from "Chindia" an old game played during the Court Festivals; even
today it is well-preserved.
- Transfer Targoviste - Campulung - Curtea de Arges (112km).
- Lunch at Posada Restaurant (optionally).
- Visit to Curtea de Arges Monastery - a famous architectural monument,
built in 1517 and with impressive decorations; you can, also, admire
"Fantana Mesterului Manole"- the legendary architect and hero of many
popular ballads.
- Transfer Curtea de Arges - Ramnicu Valcea - Sibiu (130km).
- Lodging at Sibiu Imparatul Romanilor Hotel - impressive because
of its ancient architectural style and its decorative elements; it
has hosted many famous personalities over the years, such as the great
composer Franz Lizst.

- Breakfast at Imparatul Romanilor Hotel.
- City-tour Sibiu
- Visit to Brukenthal Museum - founded in 1870, it is the oldest museum
in our country; its name recalls its creator, the ex-governor of Transylvania:
Samuel Brukenthal - one of the most famous collectors of antiques.
- Visit to Evangelical Church - built in several stages between 14th-15th
centuries in Gothic style; it contains a commanding tower, where you
can wiew the entire city.
- Lunch at Sibiu Vechi Restaurant (optionally).
- Transfer Sibiu - Cozia (76km).
- Visit to Cozia Monastery - built between 1387-1388, it is the oldest
and the most important architectural and medieval complex in Wallachy.
- Transfer Cozia - Bucharest (178km).
